Coordinator Electrical Maintenance

 

 

  • 14/14 days and nights roster | FIFO from Perth to Port Hedland
  • Base + FIFO Allowances + Shift Allowances + Super + Bonuses
  • 18 weeks full pay or 36 weeks half pay for primary caregivers

About the role:

The Port Maintenance team is currently seeking a Coordinator Electrical to join them on a 14/14 Days and Nights roster based at Port Hedland. Reporting to the Supervisor Electrical Maintenance, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the electrical maintenance activities at the port, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems and equipment.

 

Duties:

  • Review and adjust the weekly draft schedule, monitor and report on schedule metrics, and manage week-end closeouts
  • Oversee work management processes, approve and ensure the quality of notifications and work orders, and distribute daily work assignments
  • Provide coaching on best practices, step up as Supervisor when required, and ensure adherence to safety standards
  • Assist in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), identify and action improvements to the Work Management System, and update Preventive Maintenance Instructions (PMI)
  • Monitor and manage accurate time confirmations, manage Master Data Management (MDM) and parts inventory, and conduct audits of completed works

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Completed of Electrical trade apprenticeship & HV Switching Certificate
  • Strong understanding of, and experience working within, a Port Operations environment
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Knowledge of the Mines Safety & Inspection Act and Regulation
  • Experience in planning and scheduling of work and resources
