About the role:

The Processing Plant, Business Support team is currently seeking a supervisor to join them on a 4 Days on, 3 Days off Roster based at Roy Hill mine site. Reporting to the Manager Business Support, you will be responsible for Supervising the Business Support team, ensuring daily administration activity is achieved to standard and required levels of attention to business planning, operational budgets and productivity improvement is met.

As a highly organised professional your background in commercial business and leadership will ensure your success in this role. Your deep understanding of administration processes and improvement strategy will assist you leading a high performing team that provides above standard and streamlined customer service.


Duties: 

  • Provide leadership, support and guidance to Business Support administrators, including identifying and planning resourcing requirements.
  • Deliver high-level Personal Assistant support to the General Manager and Operations Managers, including calendar and inbox management, minute taking, travel coordination and general administrative support.
  • Manage and improve administrative systems, workflows and service routines across PSA, identifying bottlenecks, recurring issues and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Coordinate and support key site-based events including VIP visits, State of Plays, service awards and other operational events.
  • Oversee S26 administration for PSA supervisor positions and maintain governance across calendars, actions, travel and leadership support processes.
  • Proactively manage, track and follow up actions to ensure visibility, accountability and timely delivery across leadership teams. 

   

Skills and Experience: 

  • Demonstrated ability to develop, document, standardise and improve business processes, workflows and ways of working.
  • Strong independent problem-solving skills, including identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage high volumes of work in a structured and disciplined manner.
  • Proven people leadership capability, including building cohesive teams, coaching and developing team members.
  • Strong administration, computer literacy and software system skills, including Microsoft applications.
  • Commitment to maintaining a highly effective customer service culture, including timely follow-up on customer requests and needs.
