  • 4/3 roster | FIFO from Perth to the Roy Hill Mine
  • Performance, Retention and Profit Share Bonuses
  • 18 weeks full pay or 36 weeks half pay for primary caregivers

About the Role:

The Process Plant Processing Services team is currently seeking a Coordinator to join the team on a 4/3, 4/3, 8/6 roster, based at the Roy Hill Mine.

Reporting to the Processing Services Superintendent, this role will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing preparation and close-out activities across processing operations. The coordinator will play a key role in ensuring planned shutdowns, start-ups and operational transitions are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with established procedures, standards and regulatory requirements.

The Processing Services Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating and managing scheduled shutdown and start-up activities within the processing plant. Working closely with maintenance, engineering, operations teams and contractors to support effective execution, stakeholder communication and operational readiness.

The successful candidate will bring experience in fixed plant processing, shutdown coordination and technical operations, along with strong problem-solving capability and effective communication skills. Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications is required. Candidates who hold, or are willing to obtain, Schedule 26 certification will be highly regarded.

 

Duties:

  • Create, implement and coordinate ramp down and ramp up schedules to align with production and maintenance plans this is also to include the commissioning activities
  • Communicate operational changes to relevant stakeholders and workgroups.
  • Ensure all safety, environmental, and quality controls are maintained during transitions.
  • Monitor and report progress against ramp down and ramp up milestones.
  • Facilitate update and progress meeting routines in line with the shutdown readiness
  • Liaise with maintenance, engineering, and operations to resolve issues during ramp down and ramp up activities.
  • Manage contractors involved in ramp down activities.

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in fixed plant processing roles and shutdowns
  • Tertiary or equivalent trade and operational qualifications and experience
  • Sound technical operations and planning skills, including ability to formulate and collaboratively execute project plans
  • Leading structured problem solving and ability to navigate ambiguity and assess options to support sound decision-making
  • Strong levels of communication, verbally, written, and electronic, clear ability to present and influence
  • Demonstrated safety critical risk improvement mindset
  • Experience in SAP or similar CMMS
  • Sound skills in Microsoft programs including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • Schedule 26 or willingness to obtain
