About the role

Join Hancock Iron Ore’s People Support Centre and play a key role in delivering exceptional HR services across the business. As a People Support Centre Advisor, you’ll be at the heart of employee and position lifecycle management, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of people and position changes in SuccessFactors Employee Central.

Working closely with Human Resources and other stakeholder groups, you’ll play an important role in maintaining the integrity of organisational data through validation, auditing and continuous improvement activities. You’ll also provide trusted advice, transactional and process support, and exceptional customer service, helping to create a seamless experience for our employees, leaders and stakeholders.

 

Duties:

  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity and compliance of employee and position data through the review, validation and processing of Employee Central changes
  • Maintain high-quality people data by managing workflow activities and delivering outcomes within agreed service levels and payroll timeframes
  • Partner with Human Resources stakeholders to provide expert guidance on people processes, data governance and system requirements
  • Conduct regular audits and quality assurance activities, investigating data anomalies and implementing timely corrective actions to uphold data accuracy
  • Maintain procedures, work instructions, checklists and templates to reflect current policies and processes
  • Identify and support process improvements, system changes, testing, automation and SuccessFactors administration activities to improve People Support Centre efficiency

 

Skills and experience

  • Demonstrated experience using HR systems, including SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, SAP, and other HRIS platforms
  • Experience in an HR generalist role or HR shared services environment, preferably within the mining industry
  • Experience working to defined service level agreements in a high-volume transactional processing environment
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel for data analysis, reporting and auditing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Commerce or a related discipline, or Certificate IV in Human Resource Management, and/or SAP SuccessFactors accreditation will be
