Join the Process Plant Production team at Hancock as a Production Supervisor, where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing operations in our state-of-the-art fixed plant consisting of crushing, wet plant and train loading. This exciting opportunity offers a highly sought-after lifestyle roster of 7 days on, 7 nights on, and 14 days off, giving you the perfect balance between work and personal time. Based at our world-class Roy Hill mine site, you'll report directly to the Superintendent Production Processing and contribute to the success of one of Australia's largest-scale mining operations. Duties:
- Supervise work groups ensuring activities on operational plan is carried out in accordance with business and department directives.
- Provide leadership in continual improvement of processes, procedures, unplanned and planned requirements.
- Ensure effective working relationships are built and maintained internally and with other departments and stakeholders.
- Weekly review, monitor and record all aspects of safety, production and cost and regular attendance of work management meetings
Skills and Experience:
- Extensive Supervisor or Leadership experience in a minerals processing plant or related industry
- Demonstrated ability of managing priorities and leading high performing teams
- Clear ability to think critically be solution focused, seeking continuous improvements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- C Class Manual driver’s license essential, Frontline Management Certificate desirable
