About the role:

The Mining Operations team is currently seeking a Supervisor Mobile Maintenance – Loading & Drilling to join them on a 14/14 days and nights FIFO roster based at the Roy Hill Mine. Reporting to the Superintendent Mobile Maintenance, you will be responsible for leading the maintenance crew to ensure all mobile plant and equipment is maintained safely, efficiently and in line with OEM specifications, HIO processes and site procedures.

 

The role oversees maintenance personnel and subcontractors, drives safe work practices, supports team performance and development, and ensures maintenance activities are planned, prioritised and executed to maximise equipment availability while minimising cost.


Duties:

  • Lead and supervise mobile maintenance personnel and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to required standards
  • Promote and maintain strong HSE practices through visible field leadership, hazard management and incident reporting
  • Ensure maintenance activities executed are in line with budget requirements
  • Plan, prioritise and allocate maintenance tasks, equipment and labour in line with daily schedules and operational requirements
  • Ensure mobile plant and equipment is maintained in accordance with OEM specifications and site procedures
  • Monitor team performance, provide coaching and support, and identify training and development opportunities
  • Manage shift handovers, pre-start meetings and communication across crews to ensure accurate and consistent information transfer
  • Support the work management process, including CMMS/SAP data entry and maintenance history updates
  • Identify opportunities to improve maintenance practices, equipment availability, productivity and cost efficiency

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous leadership experience at minimum coordinator level
  • WA Statutory Supervisor Schedule 26 Certification
  • Experience maintaining Drills and Excavators
  • Mechanical Trade Certification
  • Current C Class Manual Drivers Licence
