- Manage changes and emergent work through the approved shutdown scope and work-management processes.
- Verify inspections, testing, defect management and documentation are complete before electrical work is handed back for reinstatement and operation.
- Review completed work packs and work orders, ensuring accurate SAP close-out, asset history and follow-on defects.
Skills and experience:
- Demonstrated experience supervising electrical maintenance or shutdown work in a fixed-plant, mining or comparable heavy-industry environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical safe systems of work, including isolation, permits, electrical risk controls and supervision of contractors.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, technical documentation and maintenance scopes, and identify readiness gaps before execution.

- Experience verifying work quality, testing records, defects and operational handback.
- Confident leadership and communication skills, including coaching teams and escalating safety or schedule risks.
- Competence using SAP or a comparable computerised maintenance management system.
