About the role:

 

The Permit Office team is currently seeking a Coordinator to join them on a 7 Days on, 7 Nights on, 14 Day off Roster based at Roy Hill Mine Site. Reporting to the Supervisor Permit Office, you will be responsible for providing positive isolation of plant, correct application of permitting procedures and minimising process plant downtime by optimising procedures.

 

 

About you:

 

Your proactive attitude, attention to detail and innate leadership abilities will ensure the accurate and timely execution of isolations across the plant, aligning with all maintenance and shutdown schedules. Your strong knowledge of fixed plant equipment will support the development of effective isolation strategies, minimising downtime and driving continuous improvements.


Duties:

 

  • Develop isolation plans and permits for the Processing Plant for individual equipment for modular shutdowns and multiple pieces of equipment for full shutdowns
  • Complete and inspect isolations to ensure positive isolation of equipment has been achieved in accordance with Roy Hill procedures
  • Execute isolation planning with a high level of competency and communication
  • Report, investigate and improve on isolation and permit procedure breaches

 

Skills and Experience:

 

  • Extensive experience in fixed plant mining operations
  • High level of knowledge of isolation and permit procedures
  • Current C Class Manual Drivers License
  • Sound level of computer literacy and SAP experience
  • WA Recognised Electrical Trade – C Class – Desirable
  • Electronic Permit to Work experience – Desirable
