About the role:

The Port Maintenance team is currently seeking a Technician Lubrication to join them on a 14 days shift only , 14 days off roster based at Port Hedland. Reporting to the Supervisor Mechanical Maintenance, you will be responsible for completing daily preventative and corrective lubrication tasks to ensure maximum efficiency of plant equipment, minimise down time and improve and sustain plant availability.


Duties: 

  • Conduct routine preventative lubrication inspections and document equipment conditions for timely corrective actions. Including sampling for predictive maintenance, rotating equipment greasing, filter replacements and lubrication inspections
  • Follow a structured maintenance schedule to minimize equipment downtime and improve equipment reliability and maintain detailed records of activities and inventories into the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Manage hydrocarbon storage and waste and collaborate with external departments for operational efficiency
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment and safe handling of materials

 

Skills and Experience: 

  • Unrestricted C Class Drivers licence
  • HR License, Forklift, Dogging, Rigging HRWL Desirable
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical manuals, drawings, and hydraulic schematics desirable
  • Experience in wet processing facilities, including familiarity with conveyor systems, crushers, screens, pumps, Scrubbing & Screening, Fixed Rail Balance Machines and train load outs
  • Competent in using computerised programs like SAP and Microsoft Suite 9Word. Excel, Teams)
