About the role:

The Non-Processing Infrastructure team is seeking a Maintainer Plumber to join our operation at the Golden Eagle mine site. Reporting to the Supervisor NPI, you'll be the sole Plumber on site, responsible for maintaining critical site infrastructure, including potable water, reverse osmosis and wastewater treatment systems that support one of Australia's largest mining operations.

This is an excellent opportunity to expand your technical expertise, work with advanced water treatment technologies, and build valuable experience in a high-performing mining environment.

 

Duties:

  • Maintain, service and fault-find fixed NPI water services, treatment equipment and plant
  • Carry out plumbing repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance across site infrastructure
  • Support maintenance activities within the Accommodation Village and camp facilities
  • Install new equipment and complete upgrades to existing plumbing, water services and treatment systems

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Australian-recognised Plumbing and Gas Fitting Trade Certificate required
  • Previous experience in a large-scale mining, resources or industrial environment preferred
  • Previous experience with Water and Waste water operations required
  • Current C Class Manual Driver’s Licence required
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to safety, reliability and continuous improvement
  • Current tickets/licences highly regarded: Forklift, Telehandler, EWP, Working at Heights, Confined Space, MR/HR licence, Dogging/Rigging, Excavator/Skid Steer
