About the role:
The Asset Management team is currently seeking a Superintendent Maintenance Planning Processing to join them on a 5:2 Roster based at Perth with regular site travel. Reporting to the Manager Asset Manager Processing, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of Asset Strategies across Roy Hill Mine processing plant equipment.
The role is accountable to lead Asset Strategies design, Maintenance Strategy improvement and implementation, and Shutdown development for all Asset Class’s. This is achieved by recognizing that success is dependent on achieving synergies between our people, our processes and systems, and our equipment. The purpose of the role overall, is to ensure that all Roy Hill assets classes are managed with a fit for purpose Maintenance Strategy in alignment with our Work Management and Shutdown Management framework, to ensure business achieves its business goals.
Duties:
- Managing a team of planning and scheduling SME’s to deliver an executable maintenance plan
- Development and maintaining fit for purpose planning processes, systems and procedures
- Optimization of the plans/ strategies support the defined frequency model
- Asset Management Plan and Lifecycle costing development to support the budget and forecast for the new Asset
- Development, Improvement and Optimization of Maintenance Strategies for Fixed Plant assets
- Value Improvement submissions to support process Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety performance for all assets
- Ensuring all statutory and regulatory requirements are captured in the new maintenance strategies ensuring compliance to operate standards.
- Identification of the spares philosophy and spares holding/stock requirements inclusive of CAPEX and OPEX forecast
Skills and Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in an engineering or similar technical field; or, an appropriate trade qualification with a demonstrated combination of training and experience.
- Extensive experience in maintenance positions within the mining industry, of which there has been experience in Maintenance development and/or Asset Management leadership position within the Mining industry
- Previous experience with designing and managing shutdown planning and execution
- Previous experience leading continual improvement, maintenance strategy development
