About the role:

The Asset Management team is currently seeking an Asset Engineer – Auxiliary to join the team on a 5/2 roster in Perth for a 10 month Fixed Term Contract. Reporting to the Superintendent Asset Engineering, you will be responsible for managing asset readiness that could adversely affect plant or business operations. This position shall encompass maintenance strategy development, provide technical support to execution team and other multidisciplinary activities as required.


Duties:

  • Review BOMs and manage critical spare parts and master data to support operation
  • Provide technical engineering support to the site maintenance execution teams
  • Create and review equipment specification
  • Lead and champion asset strategy work
  • Contribute and provide input to the budgeting process as required
  • Develop asset lifecycle plans and manage WOL of assets
  • Contribute to Change Management for asset improvement
  • Ensure registered plant for assets are compliant
  • Carry out inspection of equipment as required

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with Auxiliary/HME assets
  • Strong work management background
  • Experience with master data and maintenance strategies (highly desirable)
  • Sound understanding of assets condition monitoring and analysis of relevant data
  • Sound understanding of maintenance strategy development
