Many of our roles are based in the Pilbara, with employees working a fly-in-fly-out roster or living and working in Port Hedland. Some of the roles most often recruited across our operations and projects in the Pilbara include:

  • Qualified operators and tradespeople to run and maintain our fixed, mobile, and autonomous mining equipment, and associated infrastructure.
  • Civil, mechanical and electrical engineers
  • People with supervisory and management experience in mining, processing, port and rail operations, or closely related heavy industries
  • People with experience in health, safety, and security
  • Trainees and apprentices

 

In Perth, we have opportunities in our corporate offices, warehouse, and integrated remote operations centre (IROC). In our warehouse and IROC, most employees work on a roster. Elsewhere in our business our people work office hours and may travel to our projects and operations as required. Examples of roles we recruit in Perth include:

  • Experienced mine, rail, and autonomous haulage controllers
  • Logistics, supply chain, inventory, planning, scheduling, and warehousing
  • Information technology, data and analytics, automation and AI
  • Project management, planning, and project controls
  • Engineering

Our portfolio of world-class iron ore operations located in West Australia’s Pilbara region has a strong history of delivering reliable products for our customers in key international markets. We deliver more than 70 million tonnes of ore each year through our own two-berth port facility at Stanley Point and the multi-user Utah Point in Port Hedland, providing the materials needed to foster global economic growth and development. Leveraging established infrastructure, including our processing plant and 344km independently owned and operated heavy haul railway, our operation oversees each moment from when ore is mined through to when it is shipped.
