We are looking for students and recent graduates interested in pursuing a career in Procurement and Supply Chain. Over the two‑year program, you will develop practical experience across procurement, contracts, logistics and supplier management within Hancock Iron Ore. You will support the Procurement and Supply Chain team in delivering efficient, cost‑effective and compliant sourcing outcomes while gaining exposure to the full procurement lifecycle within a large‑scale mining operation.

In this role, you will gain exposure to:

  • Procurement activities, including sourcing, tender preparation, evaluation, and supplier engagement
  • Preparation and administration of contracts, purchase orders, and procurement documentation
  • Maintaining procurement data and records within company systems to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders to understand operational requirements and support sourcing activities
  • Supplier performance monitoring and reporting
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within procurement and supply chain processes

Program eligibility

  • A recent tertiary qualification (within the last 2 years, or completing by December 2026) in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Commerce, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Able to commence our program on a full-time basis in February 2027
  • International students are welcome to apply but must have full and unrestricted working rights within Australia
