About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Advisor Training - Projects and Support to join our People and Culture team based at the Roy Hill Mine. Reporting to the Specialist Projects and Support, this role will support the coordination, implementation and continuous improvement of training initiatives that strengthen workforce capability across the organisation.

You will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), operational leaders and training teams to develop and roll out effective learning solutions, support project deliverables, and identify opportunities to improve training processes, systems and outcomes. This role blends project coordination, stakeholder engagement and hands-on support to ensure training programs and project deliverables are delivered effectively, on time, and aligned with business objectives.

Duties:

  • Coordinate training projects from initiation to evaluation, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business needs
  • Support the Specialist Projects and Support by working closely with SMEs, operational teams and training stakeholders
  • Assist in the design, development and rollout of workshops, e-learning, blended learning solutions and pilot sessions
  • Translate technical content into clear, engaging and learner-focused training materials
  • Coordinate stakeholder input and communication to ensure training materials are accurate, consistent, current, compliant and aligned with business standards
  • Identify gaps, risks and continuous improvement opportunities across training programs, systems and processes, and take initiative to implement practical solutions
  • Maintain training documentation, schedules and reporting, while supporting LMS enquiries, on-the-job training programs and external training requests

 

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in mining or a similar industry, with exposure to training coordination, learning and development, or project support
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment TAE40116 or equivalent, with a project management qualification highly regarded
  • Sound knowledge of Training and Competency Management Frameworks, WHS legislation and learning management systems, including SuccessFactors
  • Demonstrated experience supporting the design, development and implementation of training programs, resources and learning solutions
  • Strong project coordination, technical writing and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive outcomes in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to engage stakeholders, work with subject matter experts and translate technical information into practical, learner-focused training materials
