About the role:
The Process Plant team is currently seeking a Supervisor Conveyor & Services to join them on a 14/14 Days Only Roster based at Roy Hill Mine. Reporting to the Superintendent Fixed Plant Maintenance, you will be responsible for safe and effective execution of maintenance plans, rapid response to equipment issues and the maximisation of availability and reliability at an optimised cost.
Duties:
- Provide leadership and direction to all Central Services maintenance personnel, including subcontractors, while reinforcing a risk-based, behavioural safety system and setting clear performance expectations
- Develop a culture that values conformance to plan, address unacceptable behaviour using the disciplinary process, and identify training and development opportunities for team members
- Maintain professional relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, identify required skills within the department, and assist Superintendents with recruitment
- Supervise maintenance personnel, ensuring efficient and effective work practices, conducting regular performance reviews, and managing handover processes
- Coach, train, and influence team members, oversee training and induction plans, and seek continuous improvement opportunities for people, processes, and equipment
- Manage weekly work and shutdowns to ensure timely, safe, and rigorous repairs and inspections, resulting in high equipment reliability and minimal breakdowns
- Provide input into the annual Processing Maintenance budget and ensure activities meet organisational requirements for quality management, health and safety, and environmental policies
- Follow Roy Hill Work and Shutdown Management processes, ensuring cross-departmental collaboration, set targets for high schedule compliance, and ensure maintenance Work Instructions (WINs) are documented and followed to minimize risk and ensure compliance with standards, procedures, and permit requirements
Skills and Experience:
- Experience at Supervisor Level in a processing environment/large scale mining
- Experience in conveyor maintenance, cranes and scaffolding, condition monitoring, maintenance planning, and maintenance execution is desirable
- Australian recognised Trade qualification
- Current WA Drivers Licence, Unrestricted C Class
