About the role:

The Processing team is currently seeking a Production Specialist to join them on a 4/3, 4/3, 4/3, 8/6 Days only Roster based at the Roy Hill Mine Site. Reporting to the Production Manager you will be responsible for developing consistency in the Production team operating standards, processes, and practices.


Duties: 

  • Monitor, report with leaders on systems and process to deliver department outcomes
  • Trouble shoot and problem solve critical plant issues, including infield analysis engagement with SME’s
  • Review plant process and data streams to initiate optimisation project work for continuous improvement
  • Interface with Maintenance and Shutdown teams to support optimal planning of work scopes, reducing risk and increasing safety
  • Standardise and optimise operator routines and production practices across all crews

 

Skills and Experience: 

  • Sound technical operations and planning skills, including ability to formulate and collaboratively execute project plans
  • Experience in operating systems ways of working in a mineral processing environment desirable
  • Leading structured problem solving and ability to navigate ambiguity and assess options to support sound decision-making
  • Demonstrated safety critical risk improvement mindset
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership roles
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure to deadlines, autonomously and as part of a team
