Are you ready to be at the forefront of mining innovation?

We're seeking a dedicated and future-focused AHS Officer Maintenance (Truck Specialist) to join our Mobile Maintenance team at our Roy Hill mine site. This is a unique opportunity to work with one of the most technologically advanced mining fleets in Australia.

In this critical role, you’ll support the operational readiness, optimisation, and ongoing maintenance of our Autonomous Haulage System (AHS), ensuring our autonomous fleet operates safely, efficiently, and reliably.

This role is primarily a 14/14 days and nights FIFO roster, with potential flexibility for a 7/7 roster depending on operational needs.

 

Duties

  • Deliver technical support for AHS onboard hardware and software, including Mobius and related systems
  • Integrate AHS-specific processes and procedures into the Mobile Maintenance function
  • Facilitate hands-on training for maintenance personnel, enhancing safety and proficiency within the Autonomous Operating Zone (AOZ)
  • Collaborate with OEMs, Technology teams, and Mining Operations to resolve technical challenges and drive continuous improvement
  • Monitor AHS performance, identifying risks and opportunities for optimisation
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards, including pre-start checks and control verifications
  • Contribute to risk assessments, investigations, and the development of safe work instructions

 

Skills and Experience

  • Prior experience with Epiroc highly regarded
  • Strong background in mobile equipment maintenance in a large-scale mining environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of autonomous haulage systems
  • Confident problem-solver and skilled technical communicator
  • Passionate about safety, continuous learning, and mentoring others\
  • Trade qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics) or relevant tertiary credentials
  • Valid C Class Driver’s Licence
  • Familiar with mine site safety standards and CMMS systems (e.g., SAP)
