About the role:

The Fixed Plant Maintenance team is currently seeking a Maintainer Fitter to join them on a 14:14 Days & Nights Roster based at Roy Hill Mine. Reporting to the Supervisor Fixed Plant Maintenance, you will be responsible for rectifying plant issues by supporting predictive, preventative, planned maintenance and practices while minimising plant down time.


Duties:

  • Complete daily inspections of Process Plant equipment and report on its condition
  • Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks as instructed by area supervisors
  • Ensure adequate materials and supplies are available to effectively perform the required tasks
  • Complete Maintenance Work Orders electronically via the Roy Hill Computerised Maintenance System (CMMS) SAP

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Completion of mechanical trade apprenticeship
  • Demonstrated experience in large scale fixed plant, Classifiers, Cyclone, Pump, Valve, Hydraulic, Gyro Crushers, Stacker/Reclaimer balance machine highly desirable
  • Experience in the mining industry
  • Current WA Drivers Licence, unrestricted C Class
  • Experience trouble shooting and problem-solving mechanical issues
