About the role:

The Mine Laboratory team is currently seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician to join them on a 14/14 or 7/7 | Days & Nights roster based at our Roy Hill Mine. Reporting to the Supervisor Laboratory, you will be responsible for operating analytical instruments and maintaining our cutting-edge automated laboratory equipment. You'll be an integral part of our operation, to ensure the highest quality data is provided to the business.

Duties:

  • Uphold site safety, health and wellbeing standards
  • Prepare, analyse and validate sample results, with precision and accuracy, ensuring timely delivery
  • Ensure automated and manual equipment availability is maximised by conducting preventative and breakdown maintenance.
  • Report deviations/errors and support logical problem-solving investigations.

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) Laboratory operations.
  • A track record of working with automated laboratory systems.
  • High level of computer literacy, including Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
  • Current Manual C Class WA Driving License.
