Civil Project Engineer

HanRoy seeks an experienced Civil Project Engineer for a contract role on the Marble Bar Road project, part of the McPhee Creek mine development. This position provides on-site support to the Package Manager, discipline engineers, contractors, and construction teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Review contractor planning, procurement, project management, quality control, and contract close-out.
  • Assist Superintendents and Supervisors with scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Supervise contractors, delegate tasks, and maintain clear stakeholder communication.
  • Utilise project management tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
  • Apply knowledge of Australian standards, MRWA requirements, and safety regulations.

 

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
  • Ability to work a 12/9 FIFO roster.
  • Minimum 8+ years’ experience in civil and road construction in Australia.
  • In-depth knowledge of Main Roads WA (MRWA) specifications.
  • Proven track record in safe, efficient project delivery.
  • Strong commitment, drive, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Experience across construction and commissioning phases.
  • Proficiency in project management software and understanding of Australian construction and safety standards.
